I dare say I have given more thought to the subject of "outing" ongoing auctions, on this board, more than almost anyone. There is just no way it will ever be a rule. Personally I wish it were but it just can't be. I hate it when ongoing auctions are outed and I hope to be bidding on the item. The 1910's notebook, with all of the players on it, comes to mind. I was the underbidder in the end and might very well have gotten it had it not been brought up on the board. It was in a weird category too. So, there will be no steadfast rule but I would personally ask folks not to "out" ongoing auctions, as a matter of being considerate to collectors that devote a lot of time (like me) searching ebay. I agree with whomever has said this auction was being seen anyway....and also agree that since it's posted on the board many more people will see it. It's not even debatable.....regards
