Dave HornishOK-I just picked up a 1941 Play Ball Reese with 4 samll to medium spots of fairly transparent glue residue on back; it's possible to read all the text through the spots. I am fairly certain it's a basic flour paste and was wondering if distilled water by the drop carefully applied with a q-tip will remove same without damaging the back. I have read on the board that this method works on T206 cards but this is a whole different animal and I have to assume the card stock is not nearly as good as what was used in 1909-11.
Does anyone have an idea if this method will work for this card?
