I actually lived in the Philippines for quite a while in 1995-96. I used to go to all sorts of outdoor markets where people were selling older stuff but all I ever saw were old coins. I was able to get many turn of the century Silver Coins for about $4 each in American Currency but the entire time there I NEVER saw a single baseball card. I lived on Luzon Island in the Northern part but also spent short times in manila as well. If he does find anything he better be prepared to bargain for it.
