When I'm not working on a particular set, I like collecting type card examples that depict pre 1920 Phillies or A's players. I never even thought about type collecting until returning to the hobby a couple of years ago and seeing collections like those of Leon and Glenn V.

While I am a Phillies fan, I decided on adding A's players as well in order to include certain sets and to avoid competing with Marc, Joshua and Mike P. all of the time
