It's called a Hall of Fame, not the Hall of the Goody Two Shoes or the Hall of the Better Player or...
Maz did two things which made him famous, his fielding and the home run in the 1960 World Series. In my mind that's enough for him to be famous and deserving of the Hall of Fame.
