Your right about Lou, in a different league or a different time, he would have been worshiped as a power-hitter.

Unfortunately, he was in the shadow of an icon, the Babe. People didn't realize how great Lou was until the end of his career. Baseball fans didn't realize how much they loved him until he gave his farewell speech at Yankee stadium.
