David VarghaI guess so, if you want to only analyze it at a very superficial level. The point is that on a daily basis, people use legally owned weapons to defend themselves and their personal property. The stories are rarely reported by the press as it doesn't support their anti-gun agenda. These stories happen thousands of times a year and help paint the full picture of gun ownership in the U.S. That's what I get out of it. In this case, Smith & Wesson became the great equalizer in the equation of strong, healthy men robbing an 82-year old woman.
