MVSNYCa few weeks ago, i posted a thread about how this board has the power to influence the hobby. i suggested that everytime (or at least most of the time), when we mention a particular card or player, within the next few days, they seem to come out of the woood-works and onto eBay...i went on to say that if we spotlighted a particular card, that the prices generally start to escalate...
well, with all of the said, i wanted to just share a clear example of this with you...
for a few months now i have been bidding on any T206 Mike Powers PSA 5 that pops up on eBay. 3 times over the last 2 months, i set high bids and was outbid each time, everytime the price increasing signifigantly...i do think that all of our "150 series only" discussions have propelled this card in particular...

april- $380
any thoughts?
