First of all George, let me say that I'm sorry to hear that you've decided not to post anymore. I'm not going to pass judgement on your reasons for deciding to leave. If you feel that you are being disrespected here, then you have to do what's best for you. I hope that if you do decide to take a break, at some point you'll change your mind and return.

I'm very surprised at how quickly board members are to "blow off" someone when they say they are going to leave the forum. When a collector leaves the hobby they take away alot that the rest of us benefit from, such as experience and knowledge. If the consensus of many on this forum is "good riddance" or "we'll survive" then so be it, but I can't help feeling that it's the rest of us who lose out and not just the one who's walking away.

Call me old school, I guess.
