As a NY Yankee fan....I felt your pain, when Renteria ended the the final game of the 2004 WS,
and the Red Sox finally won one. But, then struck me that it was exactly 100 years since John
McGraw and the Giants refused to play Boston in the WS....in 1904....I appreciated the "poetic
justice" in this victory for the Beantowners.
