Ted ZanidakisTBOB's post got me thinking....about the raw similarities between Donlin and O'Doul. Both had intermittent 12
year Major League careers....both started BB as Southpaw pitchers....both played in that great "stage" of NY,
and when you compare their "numbers"....they are very similar.
Are they deserving of HOF status ? Most say their careers'were not long enough. However, everyone agrees
that Shoeless Joe Jackson should be a HOFer, and he played only one more year than Donlin or O'Doul.
