Chris CountsIt's interesting to note that most of the players listed above are pre-World War I players and not guys that played between the wars. This makes sense when you consider that:
1) The overwhelming majority of collectors on this board favor pre-World War I cards;
2) There are more questionable HOFers in the group that played between the wars than players from all the other eras combined, a fact that can be at least partly attributed to Frankie Frisch running the veterans' committee ...
With that being said, I would add Joe Jackson, Lefty O'Doul and Smokey Joe Wood to the HOF ...
