Bad teams, the retirement of Mantle and a move to Houston in 1968 did it to me!

12 years in those early days of the Astrodome convinced me to become an Astros fan! Every time I went in that place I couldn't believe I was watching BB indoors, sitting in a theater seat w/ rest rooms & beer stands close at hand! ---and by then I was USED to bad teams!!!

Moving to RI in 1980 and living w/ the long suffering Red Sox fans also did me in!! I HAD to convert to remove the CURSE--and it only took 25 more yrs to do it!!
