I'm 37 and a journalist at Newsday on Long Island. Mostly do editing and page design but also write a little on the side.

I'm also an aspiring novelist, with two completed books that I'm trying to get published (no easy task). I actually need help with one of the books regarding a couple of small factual things related to baseball card collecting in the '80s. My two main characters collect cards (surprise!). They say to write what you know, right? Anyway, I'll start a new thread at some point to ask that question.
