Default Slightly O/T - Turn of the Century Catchers Equipment

How can I verify the authenticity of catchers equipment that doesn't have any maker's marks or labels on it? Specifically speaking, birdcage and spider style catchers masks from the turn of the century. Are there any reference manuals or pricing guides for this type of equipment?
