Default Aging your reprint T206 Wagner's

Posted By: JimB

Alan,
I remember hearing about nine or ten years ago that the "die-cut" Wagner Corey is referring to was holdered in a PSA "Authentic" holder. I believe it was one of the first that they put in those holders. Those were the days when only very special cards went into "Authentic" holders. The other one I know of is the T206 Cobb/Cobb back which is the best known, but was hand-cut. As for the value of a real Wagner in this condition, a couple of years ago Mastro auctioned a Wagner that had three of the four borders completely trimmed off and I believe it went for over 60k. So I would imagine it would be in that range.
