Two points:

Absolutely not. SGC are human, but willing to acknowledge their humanity and make it right with their buy-back guarantee. Apart from more consistency of grading, better customer service and nicer holders, it is this that really separates them from PSA.

(2) In JimC's defense, he has readily admitted to me that not all of his PSA 8's are on the up-and-up.
