Don"I think you could through most HOF guys and find a significant discrepancy between their home and road records. Except for Stan Musial. That being said the Metrodome was not Coors Field, and probably cost Puckett alot of home runs, even if it may have given him more doubles. If he didn't go blind I think he would be with Gwynn and Ripken as 3000 hit and franchise guys."
I'm not trying to bash Puckett, but his home-road splits are severely skewed. Most players will have a home OPS about 20-35 points higher at home than they do on the road. A 50-70 point difference is pretty large, but Puckett knocks that out of the park with his 148 point differential.
