Posters to this board can not have an expectation of privacy. This is especially true where the post is controversial or personal. In fact it is a rule, quite often enforced, that such a post has to carry the name of the poster.
I don't know arcade or edacra. Can't recall any posts of interest, at least not of interest to me. So, to me, he is not well known enough to be exempt from posting his name to a controversial post.
That being said VCP had every legal right to name the individual who had posted.
