MikeI have never given anyone in here a smart ass response in this forum. Though I have wanted to many times. I am very much against altering cards in any way. But that's just me. I've said before, I own a 34 Gehrig grade 5, that was flattened to have a wrinkle taken out. If and when I ever sell it, I will inform the buyer.. This has been discussed enough. Besides, in removing undesirable things from paper or cardboard, many times more damage is done than there was to start with. Doesn't matter if the card is from last year, or 2500 BC. I guess that's as close to a smart ass answer as I want to give. And yes, sometimes ink can be removed.
