I think big companies will certainly lobby the graders for preferential treatment...hey, isn't that the American way? But I think the most anyone could get is a half grade bump for a card midway between two grades. You are not going to get a NR MT with four soft corners no matter who you are. And if the graders are asked to holder trimmed cards, that will come back to bite them because at least one service offers refunds on cards that are misrepresented. So I am a little less cynical than most.
