For me also, the '57 series was the first I remember watching on TV. Remember Burdette's heroics quite vividly. Two other memories that stand out are the cartoon, by Willard Mullins I'm pretty sure, of Braves dancing around a coffin in which a Yankee is lying and captioned "The Bier That Made Milwaukee Famous" and the Nippy Jones "shoe polish play". RIP Lew.
