I would make the choice, but because I live in a section of Brooklyn that is so rich in good and affordable restaurants- the street two blocks from me is known as "Restaurant Row" (Smith Street)- we almost always eat in Brooklyn and rarely go into Manhattan for dinner anymore. So I think there are Manhattanites who know the good places better than I do. And I don't think it's realistic to have it in Brooklyn, unless some steak eaters want to do the Peter Luger's route, or simply come into my Cobble Hill neighborhood where I know an endless number of great places.
