The old way to tell the difference in blank backs was to look at the slab (when one was still 1915 and one was 1916) ...Since the Ruth "rookie" would have been 1915 all of the people put "1915" on their submission forms and they all came back as 1915's, viola !! While I would have definitely done it also I always thought that was kind of stupid..I never really kept up with the different series, personally...On the subject of scarcity the only back I have seen "one" of is the Gimbels small block print...after that I have seen about 2-3 Everybodys backed cards and a few more of each of the other rare backs..There have been quite a few discussions of these and I am sure a search on this board will enlighten anyone that so desires......regards
