There is an obscure 1928 football set I've always seen referred to as "Anonymous Candy." It's ridiculously rare... one of those sets that when you ask if they have any, dealers laugh. SGC has graded 15 different, all of which are in Carl Lamendola's incredible collection. PSA has graded none. Here's one of Carl's, stolen from his SGC registry:

SGC has a checklist of 36 football players. I don't know what their source is for the checklist. Carl has been helpful to me in the past on vintage football sets; I can point him to this thread to see if he can shed more light, if y'all are interested.
