Frank WakefieldThat Fred Toney of mine up there shows him in a Cubs uniform, but the card says Cincinnati.
Toney came up with the Cubs in 1911. Pitched in 34 games in 3 years. Then he joined the Reds in 1915, and pitched in 36 games that year. He joined the Giants in mid 1918. Last year up was 1923 with the Cardinals. In 336 games he posted a 139-102 record, completing 158 of the 271 games he started, 28 of them shutouts. Lifetime ERA of 2.69. Toney was one of the best players depicted in T210 series 6.
