Frank WakefieldI think that Callahan with the Winchester club may be Nixey Callahan, a pitcher from the 1890s with the Cubs, who converted to an outfielder, a position he played with the White Sox in the 19-teens. Nixey is in T207. Mr. Lipset shows the T210 Callahan to have been in the majors. Nixey Callahan has a gap in his major league records, he's up in 1905, and back up in 1911.
The T210 Callahan was only a .917 fielding shortstop, who hit .310 which was good for 5th best in the Bluegrass League in 1910.
Maybe someone on here will know. I think I'll seek the record from Ray Nemec.
Frank.
