fkwI just picked this up.
It is a ca.1922 real photo printed on a glossy deckle edged "VELOX" photopaper, 4.5" by 2.75" (scan below is lifesize)
On back is handwritten "BILL RYAN" in pencil.
From my short research the "VELOX" style name (printed on the back at an angle) was used on the 1920-30s.
My question. At first I though it was just a vintage photograph by a fan or something. But the photo is such a nice clean portrait, I thought it might be some type of premium, maybe from the ball park??
Anyone have anything similar?
