Peter, I read that the artist that drew the '53 Topps was paid $25 per player. Sounds low even by 50's wages, but considering the quality, it appears he was excellent at his craft.

Barry, did the stands at Ebbets sport a coat of Fenway green? PreBig-Dig, the elevated Xway in Boston was this design and color. Is this a El?.. Any opinions on this structure?
