Ted, are you suggesting that Seaver sat out the series because he had some loyalty to the Mets? I'd need something more than rumors to believe that one.

My favorite moments:

1)Chambliss' walkoff HR

2)several moments from the '78 Yanks/Sox playoff game: Bucky's HR, Reggie's HR (which was actually the game winner), and Nettles catching Yaz' popup to secure Guidry's 25th win.

3)Reggie getting his butt in the way of Bill Russell's throw in the '78 series.

4)the 1978 Boston Massacre

5)Bobby Murcer leads a NY comeback w/five RBI the day after eulogizing Thurman Munson
