1976: Chris Chambliss's walk-off HR to win the pennant for the Yankees. I was 11 years old, a rabid fan, and watching late into the night. It was the first pennant they'd won in my then short life and I was thrilled. Less than three months later my family moved to Los Angeles. While I've enjoyed lots of sporting events since then, nothing quite compared to that.

A close second was taking my daughter to The House That Ruth Built last year. By dint of the schedule of holidays over the next few years I realized that it was my last chance to take her to see "old" Yankee Stadium. We had a great day.
