Dylan, for someone asking for help and advice, you are being pretty rude imo. Not the refusal to post a link in itself, but the dismissive way of dealing with people responding.

Also, the time to ask about whether the seller owns the item or for scans proving that he owns it was before you bought it. There are some things you can do to protect yourself now, but the real ability to avoid trouble is gone now that the auction is over (which I presume from your statement that you bought an item on ebay).
