Sounds like you're from Chicago, so you'll appreciate this. I spent a lot of my working days just
South of Chi-town, and the guys out there would take me to many restaurants that specialized
in Barbecued Ribs. One was right around the block from old Comiskey Park....the Hickory Pit.
There were many others, too numerous to mention.
Well, when they would come East, I bragged that Rusty Staub's Canadian Baby Back Ribs were
the best. So, we drove to the upper Eastside of NYC to Rusty's. It was no larger than "a hole
in the wall" place. And, the Chicago-ians conceded that Rusty's Ribs were absolutely the best.
But, even better than the food, Rusty would sit down with us and "talk BaseBall" and sign base-
balls, etc. for as long as we were there.
