Al C.risafulliThe caveat, of course, being that if it's a really scarce or expensive card that I really want, and it presents well, I'll take almost anything. That being said, I try and avoid the following at all costs, in order:
1. Missing chunk/piece of card
2. Pinhole
3. Writing (not on the list, but unless it's a postcard, I don't like writing)
4. Tear
5. Peel
I don't like the following, but will accept it in most cases:
6. Rub (on front; not such a big deal on back unless it really wrecks the printing on the back)
7. Crease
Stuff that doesn't bother me much at all:
8. Foxing/major staining
9. Rounded corners
10. Mild dirt/staining
11. Chipping on edges
12. Wrinkle
The more recent the card, the less of this that I'll accept.
