Again, please accept this correction in a positive manner, the info in the link you posted is incorrect.
But, if you do not accept my word on this, then.....

Simply look up this set in the Beckett or SCD guides and you will find that the Double Play set is not
connected to the old Bowman Gum Co. that produced the 1939-41 Play Ball sets (GUM Inc), and the
1948-55 Bowman sets.
