There are many players in the first series (A) that are pretty good representations of the players ( at least as good as E90-1 a lot of the times), and some of those players were shown again in the second series (B), even the McGraw isn't terrible. Take a look at series 1's of Evers, Tinker (same photo as Wagner in 3rd series), Waddell, Plank, Reulbach (same photo as t206), Donlin, and Bender--all fairly good representations.
Edited: I should note that evryone in the 3rd series (C) does NOT look like themselves.
