I have nothing to add, but without hijacking the thread, if someone answering this thread also knows the answer to this one, I would be interested to know: What is the earliest set that included a checklist? (Not just a reference on the reverse to the number of cards in the set)

Just wondering if that was done from the proverbial "start"...
