There are a handful of people that collect the Topps buybacks. Perhaps yours wasn't advertised as such, or the main competitors for those cards already had the one you have.

Knowing that there are people out there that just go crazy for them, I put a Tinker Batting Topps Buyback on ebay with a BIN of $400. And someone purchased it. The card was in maybe Good condition, with a spot of paper loss and some creasing. I used that money to buy myself an SGC 40 Tinker and some other T206 cards I needed.
