I inherited a partial T206 collection almost three years ago. I wanted to know more about these, and started getting hits on N54 threads on google. Came here, learned much more here than anywhere else.

My first actual purchase was Feb 2006. I started with commons and didn't go after the more valuable cards until I had experience with fronts, backs, ebay, grading, trimming, etc. Common topics here. I still made mistakes, but not as bad as I could have. I have now completed the set minus 6: Wagner, Plank, Doyle, Magie, and the two St Louis rarities. Never have sold a card.
