Fred,

Sometimes I feel the same way you do. Laugh out loud. From the above it is apparent that quality has at least 2 components: 1) the grade of the card, and 2) rarity. Since almost everybody on this board is attempting to collect rare cards to some degree and visually appealing cards, virtually all of us are concerned about quality.
