Al C.risafulliFunny that I don't have a complete picture of this, but I took this shot as I was building my card room a few months ago. It's complete now.
This is how I display my HOF collection. It was easy and cheap. Basically I bought some two-inch strapping and some quarter round, nailed them together and stained them brown. Then I attached a few hooks to them. The result were some very thin shelves that are perfect for cards.
The cards are arranged on the shelves in order of the player's induction year. The oversized, tallboy cards go on a bookshelf with some other memorabilia and whatnot. It's complete now, so the whole wall is stocked, with oversized cards like R303s and cabinets on the white table, leaning up against the wall. I work at the table, and usually find myself sitting there daydreaming, staring at the cards.
Works great for me.
