Here's another attempt:
So remove the card and you have a double matted (inlaid) blank white surface. The black area is matted into the brown area and the white area is matted into the black area. Each card has it's own double matted "cutout" area if you will and is glued dead center of that area. The cards came out with a whiter background than I expected at the print shop so there will be more of a lack of the contrast between the card and the white background area but it should still look fine and be an A+ display piece.
Am I making any sense? Obviously the black area around the outside is the frame itself and they will be glassed in.
