The Movie Mask had a baseball card subplot as the kid was trying to collect the 1955 Dodgers set.

Also; there was some back to the future type movie with Drew Barrymore (John's granddaughter for those of you who want a pre-war reference) that she worked in a baseball card store.

And, there is a simpson's episode where they talk about a 1973 Topps Yastrzemski (the one with the sideburns)
