that is part of what makes the T206 Wagner so interesting.

Even though people KNOW that there are MUCH FINER examples of the card in existence...

they still pay so much for a PSA 1.


The price for other rare cards might not be so high if they were not the "finest known example," etc.


Would the PSA 1 Baltimore News RUTH sell for so much if another 40 or so came out in a "find"??

There are 50+ Wagners... and they STILL fetch such a high price.


Perhaps the BETTER question is HOW MUCH would someone pay for a T206 Wagner if 40 of them were suddenly gathered up and destroyed??
