I have bought numerous fakes and reprints before, accidentally. I would say in my whole collecting career I am probably out less than $50 though, on fakes and forgeries. I have almost always gotten resolution. Unfortunately when you do a lot of buying and selling on the internet you have to take some calculated risks. Sure has been a good learning lesson.....that and caressing my cards ...
