Inappropriate Behavior
i. Speaking aloud during play is often distracting and can mislead the opponent. A player who does this purposefully is considered to be acting unethically.
ii. Saying "You may want to challenge this" may considered a form of a beat down
The National Scrabble Association Rules Committee recognizes that many players who purposefully engage in this behavior will be banned from play.
