Controlled botanical studies have shown that as the carbon dioxide levels are increased, pine trees increase their growth by up to 1/3rd. So, as tailpipe emissions affect Brooklynites, trees are contributing in the fight by producing extra growth = more oxygen and less CO2.

This planet knows how to take care of itself. Its designer thought everything out quite well. We survived much greater catastrophies than industrialization.
