Yes Gil- empirically, global warming is factual. It is political when I hear people blame Al Gore for writing a book and making a movie about it. On some level it does become a Republican/Democrat issue. And whether you care if the ice caps are melting or not, well it may not affect me living in Brooklyn. But every time I take a breath it does affect me ( I know, Brooklyn is a big congested city, move to the country). And my folks live in southern Florida and the hurricanes keep getting worse each year and I worry about them.
