RichardI agree with you 100%. I just like to see what other collectors consider to be his rookie. Then I can compare the results and get a concensus. I think the rookie card of any HOF'er (my opinion only) is his first issue in a major card set. Now we open another can of worms. What are considered (major) card sets. I would have to say nationally distributed large sets promoting a product (gum, tobacco, etc). Certainly 1922 E120 American Caramel and the 1921 & 1922 E121 American Caramel issues. Also, the V61 Neilson's chocolates set. Are exhibit cards considered major card sets? They were available in penny arcades I believe. Not sold to promote any products. I do not consider them major card sets.
