Troy KirkI'm 47 and got my first prewar cards in the 1970s sometime, probably about 1974. I can remember bidding on some T206 cards in a Trader Speaks auction in the mid-1970s and getting Cy Young, John McGraw, and a few others for about $1-$2 each. They had some minor creases, but still a pretty good deal. I wish I would have bought more back then, but I didn't have much card money and spent most of it on Topps cards.
